| Bio: | Name - Hannah Abbott House and Year - 4th year Hufflepuff Birthdate - May 15 Hannah was born to magical parents. Her father Shawn is a full blooded wizard and her mother Jillian is a muggle-born. Because they wanted Hannah to experience the backgrounds of both her parents, the Abbot's were very careful when Hannah was little not to use magic around her until she was six. In order to accoplish this, the Abbot's lived with Jillian's parents thus giving Hannah a close relationship with her Pap-paw and Grandma. (Not to mention that after the Potter's were murdered, everyone fled Godric's Hollow.) When the family later moved to join the rest of the Abbotts, Hannah was torn to pieces that she had to leave her grandparents behind. At the age of eight Hannah made her first trip into Diagon Alley when her mother's toted her along to check on some things as work. Hannah marveled at the plants her mother was raising behind the apothocary for magical uses as they rivaled anything Grandma had in her backyard garden. That day was also the first time Hannah visited the Ministry of Magic. You can imagine Hannah's surprise when they showed up in Shawn's office and there were pictures of werewolves and other magical beings on the wall. Having always believed such things to be imaginary, Hannah got quite a lesson in magical creatures that day. While Hannah had known about basic magic for two years at the time of her visit into Diagon Alley, seeing that there was a whole world out there and knowing that it was just waiting to be explored only fueled Hannah's curiousity which rose to its peak when she recieved her Hogwarts letter. Her first time on the Hogwarts Express found her seated with a variety of first year students, some excitedly talking others obviously scared. Upon her sorting into Hufflepuff, Hannah's bubbly personality quickly earned her several friends. However, Hannah quickly learned that the awe of magic wasn't was easy to achieve as her parents had made it seem. She found that in order to make decent grades she had to block out specific time for each of her courses. Luckily, she learned to keep to her schedule which made it much easier to add Care of Magical Creatures, Divination, and Muggle Studies to her third year schedule. | |||||||||
